What this product is

Hopcheck is a stateless redirect-chain inspector. You paste a URL, the server follows each redirect one hop at a time, and the result is shown to you. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no profiles, and no stored data. Nothing about a check survives the request — the product is designed to have no memory of what it was asked.

What we collect — and do not collect

  • The URL you submit — it is sent to the server only to perform the redirect check. The server does not retain it, log it, or store it anywhere. The product has no database, no key-value store, and no persistent storage.
  • No personal information. The site does not ask for or require names, email addresses, or any identifier. There is no sign-up form, no newsletter, no contact form, and no tracking of individual users.
  • No cookies. The site does not set cookies for analytics, tracking, or any other purpose. The server does not set Set-Cookie headers.
  • No third-party scripts. The only external resource loaded is the Google Fonts CSS file, which may transmit your IP address to Google's servers as part of the font delivery. No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts are present.
  • Infrastructure-level logs. The hosting platform (Cloudflare) may log IP addresses and request metadata at the edge for operational purposes (e.g., attack mitigation, debugging). These logs are retained by the infrastructure provider and are not accessible to the operator of this product as a data source.

Data controller

There is no registered legal entity for this product yet. The operator has not supplied a company name, address, or jurisdiction. Until they do, there is no data controller in the legal sense, and no privacy commitments bind a legal person. This page states how the product behaves in practice.

There is no mailbox for this product yet. Do not send data expecting a reply — there is nowhere for it to go. An operator contact will be published here when one exists.
